Perceptions and Use of Moodle in Teaching Spaces
Nine interviews with current teaching staff at a London University on 4-5 June 2025. Eight in-person, one over Teams. Questions focused around spaces and technology used for teaching. Moodle was not the topic of the study, but was mentioned several times in differing contexts.
This analysis explores lecturers' experiences and views concerning the learning management system, Moodle, drawing on insights from the nine interviews.
Moodle appears as a central tool for course delivery, primarily functioning as a repository for teaching materials. However, its usability and technical capabilities prompt various staff adaptations and highlight areas for potential improvement.
